TYPICAL MONTHLY MEETING FORMAT

Meetings start at 6:00 PM, but folks often come in around 15 minutes early to get some extra coin talk in and review any auction items that anybody might be looking to sell or trade for that night. 

Welcome visitors & new members. Review any old business from previous meeting.

Presentation of educational information and handouts with group discussion. We also frequently pass out a coin trivia handout. The trivia portion is all in fun and self -graded. The purpose is to share interesting and little known coin facts and encourage discussion and learning.  We have a wide range of members from those brand new to the hobby to folks that have operated their own coins shop before and have over 50 years of coin collecting experience. 

Discussion about any new releases or other news in the hobby. We also cover upcoming coin shows in the region including Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and other surrounding areas our members frequently go to as buyers and/or vendors. 

All members and visitors can address the group to offer news, ask for collecting advice or opinions, or bring any other matter or idea up for discussion. 

This is a great part of the meeting where anybody is welcome to bring in some item (coin, token, or paper money)  they would like to share with the group. No item is too small or too big. We are all collectors and we like to see or learn about anything that any of our members brought in to share and show. 

All club members can bring items to any meeting and offer them for sale or trade. Seller's can start the sale at any price they like with a minimum bid requirement or they can simply ask for a set price and sell or trade with whomever they want. 

All visitors and members of the public may attend one meeting and offer items for sale the same as a club member, but if someone wants to sell at more than one meeting in a 12-month period they must become a member of the club at that second meeting.   

We end the meeting and sometimes folks stick around for a while to finish any lingering discussions. This is also a second opportunity for new members or visitors to ask more experienced collectors any questions they might not have wanted to ask the group as a whole.
